About Heather
Heather provides strategic and operational HR leadership to Federated Wireless. In this capacity, she is responsible for the development of future-oriented human capitol programs that achieve a world-class talent brand. She brings nearly 20 years of experience driving business decisions within fast-paced, results-oriented corporate environments.
Before joining the Federated team, Heather served in the lead HR role for Washington National Cathedral and the three renowned private schools on its campus. She optimized the organization’s benefits spend by increasing the value and variety of programs while delivering substantial cost savings. Prior to the Cathedral, Heather spent more than 7 years with Discovery Communications as a trusted thought leader and innovative HR business partner supporting a number of global divisions, including an assignment in London working with the information and media technology teams.
Heather has a M.B.A. from American University, a Bachelor’s in Human Resource Management from St. Mary’s College of Maryland, and SPHR and SHRM-SCP certifications.
